First of all - this is a "Standard" category hostel, with shared bathrooms and shared toilets. That is the only point of criticism and also the very, very, very sole reason for us not to come a second time. It was an attempt, but it didn't work. Otherwise everything is great here! Super friendly and helpful staff, the rooms are sufficient, the location is simply great! Dinner is perfectly fine, but not commendable. But the breakfast even more so. The hostel can absolutely compete with better categories. Particularly worth mentioning - there is the option of a water flat rate for €1 per day/person, which is great. Be sure to plan a visit to the open-air stage - seat cushions are kindly available to borrow from the hostel. For children there is a table football, a small playroom with a slide and large building blocks and a multi-purpose room with a table tennis table/disco room. Clear recommendation for JH Tecklenburg.
